CareCureConnect processes your personal data with care and in accordance with the law.

CareCureConnect provides the following information regarding this processing.

1. Data Controller

The controller responsible for processing personal data is CareCureConnect, Korte Havenstraat 16a, Oudewater, registered in the trade register under number 67956696.

2. Websites

This privacy policy applies to all services offered by CareCureConnect via its websites, including – but not limited to – www.carecureconnect.com.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing

CareCureConnect may process the following personal data for the following purposes:

(a) Contact Form / Telephone Contact

If you fill out the contact form on the website or contact us by telephone, CareCureConnect processes your personal data to adequately answer your questions or requests for information.

Data processed: Your (first) name, email address, telephone number, and any other personal data included in your inquiry.

Legal basis: Primarily the legitimate interest of CareCureConnect to process your personal data. Additionally, you may voluntarily provide certain data, for which the legal basis is your consent.

(b) Registration for (Online) Courses or Requests

If you register for a course via CareCureConnect that is offered by one of its partners, CareCureConnect processes your personal data to process your request and registration, and to facilitate your participation.

Data processed: Your (first) name, (company) address, job title, (business) email address, telephone number, payment details, and your progress and results of the course(s). If necessary, your BIG registration number will also be requested and processed.

Legal basis: Primarily the performance of a contract between CareCureConnect and one of its partners, and occasionally the performance of a contract between CareCureConnect and you. Additionally, CareCureConnect has a legitimate interest in this processing. To the extent that you have voluntarily provided your personal data and given consent, the legal basis is your consent.

(c) Registration and Participation in Events

If you register for an event (co-)organized by CareCureConnect or one of its partners, CareCureConnect processes your personal data to process your registration and facilitate your participation.

Data processed: Your (first) name, (company) name, (business) email address, telephone number, and job title. If necessary, your BIG registration number will also be requested and processed.

Legal basis: Primarily the performance of a contract between CareCureConnect and yourself, and the legitimate interest of CareCureConnect in the processing. To the extent that you have voluntarily provided your personal data and given consent, the legal basis is your consent.

4. Recipients of Personal Data

4.1 General

CareCureConnect does not share your personal data with third parties unless necessary for one of the processing purposes mentioned under Section 3 and permitted under current legislation.

CareCureConnect may provide your personal data to third parties because:

  • CareCureConnect has engaged that third party as a processor;
  • CareCureConnect is a joint controller with that third party;
  • The processing of your personal data by a third party is necessary to execute an agreement with you;
  • You have given consent;
  • There is a legitimate interest of CareCureConnect;
  • CareCureConnect is under a legal obligation to do so.

4.2 Third-Party Processors

If third parties are classified as a processor as defined in Article 4, sub 8 GDPR, CareCureConnect will conclude a written processor agreement in all cases.

4.3 Joint Controller

If both CareCureConnect and the third party are classified as joint data controllers within the meaning of Article 26 GDPR, CareCureConnect will agree on an arrangement with that party.

4.4 Partners

Within the framework of the processing activities and based on the aforementioned legal bases, your personal data may be shared with strategic partners with whom CareCureConnect organizes events and courses, among other things.

4.5 Contractors and Service Providers

CareCureConnect may also share your personal data with contractors engaged by it, such as IT service providers, payment services, and cookie providers.

5. Retention Period

We do not store your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes mentioned under Section 3. To the extent that a statutory retention period applies, CareCureConnect will not store your personal data longer than the applicable statutory period.

6. Security of Personal Data

CareCureConnect has taken appropriate organizational and technical measures to secure your personal data against loss or other forms of unlawful processing. These measures ensure a level of security appropriate to the personal data processed by CareCureConnect.

7. Cookies

CareCureConnect does not use cookies on its websites. A cookie is a text file stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. When you visit the websites of CareCureConnect for the first time, CareCureConnect does not show a pop-up explaining cookies.

8. Your Rights

8.1 Access, Rectification, and Erasure

You have the right to request access to your personal data from CareCureConnect. If the personal data is incorrect, incomplete, or irrelevant, you have the right to request its modification or supplementation. You also have the right to object to the processing and to request CareCureConnect to erase the personal data (‘right to be forgotten’).

8.2 Data Portability

Under certain circumstances (mentioned in Article 20 GDPR), you have the right to request CareCureConnect to transfer the personal data you provided to CareCureConnect to you or another data controller in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format (‘data portability’).

8.3 Withdrawal of Consent

To the extent that the processing of your personal data is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

8.4 Restriction of Processing

You have the right to request CareCureConnect to restrict the processing of your personal data, for example, if the personal data is no longer correct, the processing is unlawful, CareCureConnect no longer needs your personal data, or pending a decision on the objection you made against the processing.

9. Complaints

If you wish to exercise the aforementioned rights, you can contact CareCureConnect. The contact details can be found in Section 12. You also have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority is the Dutch Data Protection Authority (*Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens* via www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

10. Links and Third-Party Websites

This Privacy and Cookie Policy does not apply to third-party websites connected to the websites via links. CareCureConnect cannot guarantee that these third parties handle your personal data in a reliable or secure manner. CareCureConnect advises you to read the privacy policy of these websites before using them.

11. Amendments

CareCureConnect reserves the right to make changes to this privacy policy at any time in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Therefore, check this webpage from time to time to see if changes have occurred.
